Welcome to B+HARI Brain Class

In a Downtown office environment, around 20 participants—primarily kūpuna but also some professionals—engage in balancing exercises. Guided by instructor Ma Ry Kim, who encourages them to embrace their unsteady moments, the class embodies the principles of neuroplasticity, showing improvements in cognitive capacity and reducing risks of dementia.

For over a year, B+HARI, the Brain Health Applied Research Institute, has conducted these sessions at Topa Financial Center and the Ritz-Carlton Waikīkī, starting with just 12 participants and now exceeding 500 attendees. The program blends cognitive activities with health lectures and is designed to help the community foster brain health and combat disorders like Alzheimer’s disease. B+HARI aims not only to enhance individual well-being but also to gather evidence on the effectiveness of its unique approach to cognitive improvement.
